ABOUT ME:

Regarding my radio work ethics, I was very fortunate to have 20 years experience in the Aerospace and Injection Molding fields working with very close tolerances and extreme attention to detail, which in turn allowed me to incorporate the same high quality work standards, skill and dedication in my radio restoration work as well as my radio dial molding business.

Special Thank you... to all of the people who have shared with me the same passion, history and interest in the tube radio and antique field of collecting and preservation. America's history should not be forgotten, but rather passed on for future generations to enjoy!

RADIO PRICING GUIDELINES: From a restorer's perspective, there are several factors to consider when determining the asking price for each individual radio.
A) INITIAL INVESTMENT COST - The price it cost to purchase the radio before any work is performed.

B) RESTORATION COST -
The cost of replacement parts whether electronic, mechanical or cosmetic.

C) LABOR COST -
The time spent on restoring and/or repairing.

D) RARITY SCALE -
The level of rarity of each individual radio model varies greatly. The word "rare" is way over used in the market place especially on ebay or other auction sites. This is why it's always best to do your own research on a particular model or whatever you are collecting, and not base your views on hearsay or sugar-coated auction descriptions. The more a person educates themselves in their collecting field, the more knowledgeable they will become in all aspects. For some collectibles and antiques, this process can be always ongoing, and can take several decades to master.

E) PROFIT MARGIN -
This factor is entirely up to the seller whether they sell to make a living, or just as a hobby. The rule of thumb in any business is to at least double your investment cost in order to stay in business. Once a restorer factors in all of these areas posted above, they can then calculate an accurate asking price for each individual radio model.I do entertain Best Offers on radio sets listed, just drop me a line and let's discuss it!
